GRAPHISOFT Improved IFC Exchange Add-In
ArchiCAD / Revit Structure Connection:
The GRAPHISOFT Improved IFC Exchange is a free Add-In for Autodesk Revit Structure 2010 or 2011 (32- and 64-bit). The Add-In improves the IFC model-based data exchange between Revit Structure and Graphisoft ArchiCAD.
Although both ArchiCAD and Revit Structure can import and export IFC models with their standard file handling commands, this Add-In gives additional features to the bi-directional IFC connection between the ArchiCAD and Revit Structure by post-processing a previously converted (imported or exported) IFC file in Revit Structure, and it improves the imported/exported IFC model.
After the installation of this FREE Add-in in Revit Structure, the Improved IFC Exchange function will appear in the Add-Ins ribbon in the Revit Structure program.
ArchiCAD / Revit MEP Connection &
ArchiCAD / AutoCAD MEP Connection:
The ArchiCAD Connection for Revit MEP and for AutoCAD MEP are a free Add-Ins. These Add-Ins improve the IFC model-based data exchange between the MEP applications and Graphisoft ArchiCAD. Although ArchiCAD, Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP can import and export IFC models with their standard file handling commands, these Add-Ins give additional features to the IFC export from the softwares. ArchiCAD Connection Add-Ins enable you to save an IFC file that is specially enhanced for use in Graphisoft MEP Modeler.
When importing the resulting IFC file, Graphisoft MEP Modeler will convert Revit MEP or AutoCAD MEP elements to MEP Modeler.
After installing these FREE Add-Ins, an "ArchiCAD Connection > Export to ArchiCAD" command will be installed on the Revit MEP or AutoCAD MEP program interface.
